Guidelines for the discussion forum

Talking towards solutions

The debate is meant to be constructive, and its aim must be to work together to find common solutions. The debate must also be based on facts. We also require an inclusive approach and do not tolerate hate speech of any kind.

Debate can sometimes be fruitful, but often the best solutions are the ones that have been found together. We should therefore adopt an attitude of searching together—not an attitude in which a person has already decided their position, to then try to persuade others to accept that position. If on the other hand, we genuinely listen to others with an open mind, and work together to find the best solution in any particular matter, then we can arrive at it in a more organic way. This could perhaps lead to sustainable solutions that work for everyone.

Participating in the conversation

All visitors to the site have access to read posts on the discussion forum; there is no need for membership. However, only members can express their views on the forum, and this must also be done under their own name. . In any case, the member has a duty to act in accordance with good manners in the activities of the association, and this also applies to the discussion forum.

New discussion topics

Members can create new topics for discussion in the forum, but they are approved by the association’s management before they can be commented on.

We believe in the power of constructive conversation.

So let's listen to each other with an open mind.

A just world is one in which all people have an equal opportunity to live a good life.

Let's adopt an attitude of searching together; that's how we succeed together.

Only as a member can you post in the forum.

However, it is possible for everyone to read what is written on the forum.
